How long have you been in business?

Stephen Crickmore set up the Practice over 30 years ago in July 1992. Since then we have seen thousands of pets, coming in all shapes and sizes. There isn't much we haven't seen and treated, so with our experience, you can be assured that we are here to support and promote your pets health.

Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of Cheltenham, with the address of Albion Lodge, 1 Gloucester Road, Cheltenham, GL51 8LN. We moved about 19 years ago from our old location on St Georges Road. We refurbished the old Gas Works office building and now also have plenty of free car parking for our clients.

What are you opening hours for consulting?

We are open for consultations (by appointment ) Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 11:00am and 5:00pm to 7:00pm. On Saturdays we open in the morning for consultations and until 1pm for any medication dispensing. We are closed for Bank Holidays .

Do you run an out of hours service?

Chelvets provide our out of hours service (located at the racecourse in Prestbury). In an emergency, ring the Practice number where there is a recorded message with their phone number (01242 522022). They will then arrange to see your pet. If this occurs they will forward us full details of any treatments they have provided.

I would like a second opinion is that possible?

We normally offer a second opinion for your pets. If you tell us your previous Veterinary Practice, we will obtain the histories, for your peace of mind, our records and in line with legal requirements.

What is the best thing about the practice?

We are incredibly proud of the team we have at the Practice. You will always see friendly faces here, and get to know them as if they were your family. Your pet will always be seen by Stephen, which means continuity of care unlike most other Practices where you often see different vets on each visit.

 

Can I order repeat prescriptions?

Ordering repeat prescriptions couldn't be easier, just call or email your request in, and we will check it is in stock and able to be dispensed and let you know when it is ready for collection (a set time will need to be made during COVID-19).
